Marion Meets Makers is a cinematic documentary series by French filmmaker Marion Poggioli, portraying America's last master craftsmen: bootmakers, glassworkers, hatters… at the workbench and in their own words.
Born from a decade in tech and a search for meaning as AI accelerated, the series turns its lens toward people who work slowly, with their hands, for love of the craft.
Seen through the eyes of a Frenchwoman raised among artisans in the country side of France, each episode is an intimate portrait of the maker, the gesture, and the disappearing knowledge held in their hands.
